Summer School on Applied Analysis

Every September, the Faculty of Mathematics at Chemnitz University of Technology brings together graduate students, doctoral researchers and young post-docs for a week of lectures and discussion on applied analysis — from functional analysis and approximation theory to numerical analysis and machine learning.

Workshop and Summer School on Applied Analysis 2027

Five invited researchers each give two morning lectures; the afternoons are reserved for contributed talks by the participants. Held on the TU Chemnitz campus in the newly renovated University Library building, close to the city centre and the main station.

Format: Five invited speakers, two lectures each, Monday to Friday. Afternoons for contributed talks and posters.
Who it is for: Graduate students, doctoral researchers and young post-docs in applied mathematics.
Registration: Free of charge; places may be limited. Accommodation is not provided, but rooms are pre-booked at nearby hotels.
