1Neuronale Netze wurden als Allheilmittel gesehen. Was in unserem Gehirn so gut funktioniert, muss doch auch für uns von Nutzen sein? Teilweise stimmt das. Aber ich glaube, sie sind ein Umweg! Sie lösen Probleme, die wir mit Computern gar nicht haben! Das plötzliche Sterben einer Nervennzelle, und das Schneckentempo mit denen die einzelnen Zellen arbeiten. All das müssen neuronale Netze kompensieren. Hingegen können Computer gerade zu beliebig Perfekt arbeiten, brauchen keine Redundanz. Nervenzellen sind also nur die Grundrecheneinheiten des Gehirns, wie es die Transistoren für den Computer sind. Gerade zu langweilig! Interessanter ist die Software, die auf dieser “Hardware” läuft! Und diese lässt sich auch ohne Umweg über künstliche neuronale Netze auf Computern umsetzen! Sobald wir sie kennen 
Ein neuronales Netz ist nur “Software” bzw. eine Idee. Ob diese Software oder Idee nun biologiisch oder technologisch (in welcher “Hardware”) umgesetzt wird, spielt dabei nur eine unwesentliche Rolle.
Hardware wären bei einem technologischen System die Transistoren und deren elektrischen Verbindung untereinander .
Die Software wäre dabei wie die Transistoren geschalten werden.
Man kann Software auch mit Gedanken vergleichen.
Ein Gehirn wäre dabei die Hardware.
Unterm Strich: Neuronale Netze und künstliche neuronale Netze sind ein und das selbe.
