Hi, This is a fantastic tool..!! Thank you very much. I support the idea of nonlinear presentations mentioned below. Is it possible to add hyperlinks akin to those in wiki?

What if i add a word to wiki but such a link does not exist? Just like in wikis, can one just create a empty slide with the wikiword as the frame title? This would first require to make a list of all the wikiwords, check if there are valid links, create empty slides those that done have any existing links.

[wiki2beamer Logo] What is wiki2beamer?

wiki2beamer is a small tool to create LaTeX Beamer presentations from text files with a wiki-like syntax. Thus, it enables the user to create beamer presentations in a less time-consuming way.

Although wiki2beamer is not included in any major distribution yet, there are some packages available which can be included. Any help to create packages would be appreciated.

Debian / Ubuntu

We now also supply a Debian/Ubuntu package. Get it at SourceForge.

Important: If you really have to use one the tags described on this page without wiki2beamer transforming them, you can use this trick, which makes use of a LaTeX concept:
={= these are two equals that are not transformed to a section =}=
This page may not be complete. For an authoritative documentation take a look at the man-page (man wiki2beamer).

WEP 100: Lessig Style Slide Environment

WEP: 100
Title: Lessig Style Slide Environment
Version: 0.1
Status: Draft
Wiki2beamer Version: 0.7

Introduction

Creating Lessig-style talk slides can be a tedious task. In the limits of LaTeX-beamer they mostly consist only of a few big words, centered on the screen in a large font. Sometimes you want subsequent popups of words on a single slide. Yet, even with wiki2beamer you still have to type alot of syntax overhead. A tight syntax is needed.
