As previously reported, the system suffered a hard drive failure. In

2005-02-22 17:45I'm trying to track down an issue I'm having with cygwin+etheral over an ssh tunnel. Under an up-to-date cygwin bash shell I type 'ssh -X <host>' and login. Once logged in I type 'ethereal' (latest rev built from source). In my cygwin xterm I receive the following error: The program 'ethereal' received an X Window System error.

2005-02-22 18:04Interestingly enough, the problem disappears if I use putty as my ssh client. That's problem solved, I think. Not a cygwin/x problem.
