logprint

logprint is an awk-script which reads centericq history files and generates a HTML file from it.

Invocation

<OPTIONS> gawk -f logprint.awk .centericq/<UIN>/history

Options

supported options are:

LOG_START="YYYY MM DD HH MM SS"

first timestamp to include in log. Format is "YYYY MM DD HH MM SS". The default is to discard all entries older than 30 days.

LOG_END="YYYY MM DD HH MM SS"

last timestamp to include in log. Format is "YYYY MM DD HH MM SS". Not used by default.

ICQ_NAME="name"

Set the name of the ICQ partner. Not required for IRC logs.

BUGS

logprint was written to process IRC log messages from the #cygwinx channel on freenode. The colorcoding contains the regulars of that channel and the sendernick is hardcoded to my nick. Mabe I'll add an option to change this.
